GHS Sub-zero Boomers - electric guitar strings from the deep freeze!

GHS "Boomers" already have a big following, especially with guitarists in the USA.

Now GHS have launched super-boomers in the form of their Sub-Zero Boomers series.

The GHS Sub-Zero Boomer strings are cryogenically treated in a computerized system with liquid nitrogen, taking them down to a temperature of below -300 degrees fahrenheit, before gradually bringing them back up to room temperature.

GHS say this treatment improves the "dimensional stability" of the strings, keeping them in tune better and for longer. The freezing process is also said to increase the strings' resistance to corrosion... so good news all round!

GHS artists include The White Stripes, Green Day, Eric Johnson, Carlos Santana and many more.

The new Sub-Zero guitar strings are available in Ultra Light, Extra Light, Custom Light, Light, and Medium.
A range of Sub-zero bass strings is also available and comes in Light, Medium Light, and Medium.
