Iconic British guitar string maker Rotosound have launched their first range of coated guitar strings for both acoustic and electric guitars under the brand name "Nexus". Both Nexus string types use a special polycoat material to give a smooth touch and longer life, improving tone and preventing tarnishing.

Gauges are currently limited to 9 or 10 for the electric strings (equivalent to Roto Pinks and Roto Yellows), and 10, 11 and 12 gauge for acoustic. The acoustic strings are clear-coated versions of popular Rotosound Jumbo King phosphor-bronze JK range.

NEXUS ELECTRIC GUITAR STRINGS(Black Polymer Coated)
Mention a Type 52 pure nickel alloy string to discerning guitarists and they will tell you about the extra lift that the higher magnetism offers. Now shroud it with a special black polycoat material and you have a high energy string smooth to the touch, rich in warm tones with extended life.

NXE10: 10, 13, 17, 26w, 36w, 46w

Take a great acoustic string from our JK range, give it a smooth polycoat dressing and you have `Nexus Bronze` the string for the next generation of acoustic sound. It offers a unique tone of its own with the usual enriched highs giving way to softer gentle mid-tones with a smooth feel, longer life and tarnish prevention built in.
